Create a NESTED Formula
The IF Function has two answers: one value if it is True, one value if it is False. You can use another IF Function to replace the Value_False. This is how to "NEST" a Formula. Nesting lets you add more criteria and offers more answers.
3. Try it: Create a NESTED Formula
Select Cell C2.
Type the IF statement as shown on this page,
IMPORTANT: The commas ","
separate the Arguments. Do NOT use a comma for the amount in the Value_if_true.
When you are done typing this formula, click ENTER on the keyboard.
Do This: Copy the Formula
Select Cell C2. Copy the NESTED Formula in C2 and Paste it from C3:C5.
